Jesus Antonio Garcia Romo
He has a professional career and experience spanning more than 20 years, recognized as providing tax advice to prestigious Mexican and global companies in the different sectors of business. The many projects in which he has been involved include corporate restructures, mergers and spin-offs, the financial and fiscal optimization of companies, solving of disputes and, in general, specialized tax (in corporate and indirect international taxes) and business consulting projects, always with the main aim of identifying the priority needs of our clients and offering the solution to them with the best possible results.
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting from the La Salle University and a postgraduate degree in Taxes from the Pan-American University.
Memberships or special positions:
He is a current member of the Association of Public Accountants of Mexico (CCPM) and a member of the Legal-Fiscal Committee of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce (CANCHAM).
During his career he took part, for almost two years, in an international assignment in Houston, Texas, United States.
Additionally, for two years he headed the Tax Department in Mexico of one of the world-leading tobacco companies (manufacture and distribution).
